Clothes get pushed to the back of a wardrobe, forgotten, and replaced by something close to what was already there. GYST is a way to keep track.
Wearing what you already own
Most closets hold more than their owner can picture. The front third of the rail gets worn, the back two thirds get forgotten, and the gap is filled by something the wardrobe already had in a slightly different colour.
Anything you keep in use is something you do not have to buy again. GYST records what you wear and what you never reach for, so the pieces you forgot about come back into rotation, and the ones that were never right for you can go to someone nearby.

No middleman
The app is free to download and runs no advertising. SwapMeet takes no commission and never will, because GYST does not touch the money that changes hands.
Your wardrobe stays yours
Your photos and clothing details are never sold or handed to advertisers. The AI features use Google Gemini: AI Identify sends the photo you are tagging, and AI outfit suggestions send descriptions of your clothes and the forecast, along with your style answers, what you have worn and the suggestions you liked or turned down. By default the daily outfit is built on your phone and sends nothing.
Careful with resources
Today’s outfit is built on your phone by default, AI answers are cached so the same question is not sent away twice, and background removal runs on the phone rather than a server.
One person builds it
Bugs, ideas and complaints all reach the same developer. The feedback form in Settings is the quickest route, and it is read every time.
Where GYST actually stands
A small app, early in its life, told straight.
A listings board with messaging attached. You find each other; you arrange the rest.
No checkout, no shipping, no escrow, no buyer protection, no verified sellers.
It is not. There is no revenue and no investor, so nothing is riding on your attention.
iPhone and iPad, iOS 15.1 and up. There is no Android build and no web version.
