In person, not in the post
Every exchange happens face to face, so nothing gets packed, posted, or lost by a courier on the way.
No fee at all
GYST does not process the payment, so it takes no cut. Listing is free and there is nothing to subscribe to. Whatever you agree on is what you get.
Meet somewhere public
When you agree a meeting, GYST suggests public places pulled from OpenStreetMap: libraries, cafes, police station lobbies. Pick one, set a time, and both of you see the same plan.
Sell it or trade it
List an item for sale, for trade, or for either. Trade listings say what you are hoping to get back instead of a price.

List an item
Start from something already in your wardrobe. Photos and details carry over, so you set a price, or say what you would trade for, and publish.
Browse nearby
See what people around you have listed, within a distance you choose, and filter by type, condition, sale or trade, and price.
Message the seller
Ask about fit or condition and agree on a time and place, all inside the app.
Meet and hand it over
Meet at the public spot you both agreed on. Payment happens between the two of you, however you like.
What SwapMeet is not
SwapMeet has no checkout, no payment processing, no buyer protection, no seller storefronts, no verified badges, and no shipping. If a listing goes wrong, GYST cannot reverse it. Treat it like meeting someone from a local classifieds board, because that is what it is.
